Yes it’s true.. we made it on to national television last weekend when Poppy ran her Sport Relief mile. I managed to record it and have placed it in our video album: Click here to watch - it’s only about 30 seconds or so. We are 22 seconds in to the video – keep your eye out or you’ll miss us!

She made it! A total time of 29 minutes and 28 seconds and she ran / walked all the way. I tracked it using my Nike+ / ipod and at Poppy’s pace it’s not 100% accurate, but it’s a good indication anyway. Here’s us at the finish line:

She is part of Team Shingler. It’s forecast rain for Sunday so it may be without the fairy costume, but we’ll endeavour to do it all the same.

Everyone heard about BBC’s Sport Relief? Vicky has entered us all in to run the Coventry Mile. Well, obviously me and Vicky won’t be running.. the mile is for Poppy. We have a fairy costume all ready, and took her to the park earlier on a specially mapped and measured route to make sure she’s up to the challenge – she passed with flying colours. The official run is on Sunday March 16th and we’re hoping she’s cute enough to make it on to the telly!
