Today was the annual school fete and top of Poppy’s to-do list was getting her face painted and buying some candy floss… both of which involved covering her face. Joseph also had a couple of turns on the bouncy castle and ate far too many sugary stuffs but I’m pretty sure they both enjoyed themselves. And as for the photo, she insisted on the pose.

Getting this up on the web for you all to see was trickier than it looks I can assure you, mainly due to Mr Vangelis and his flaming chariot based score. Of course the rights are held by UMG and I’m just taking advantage of creative re-use loopholes, but facebook’s video hosting just doesn’t want to know. Luckily, good old YouTube and their Google backed negotiating skills with the big record labels mean that they will allow me to host Vangelis based home made videos there (even if it does mean that the video is unavailable in certain un-named countries, sorry if that includes you). Right, on with the show:
I know she was only 3 yesterday, but here in Welshlandplace Poppy can start school the day after her 3rd birthday. Okay so technically it is only nursery and she will only be going in for the afternoon each day until next school year, but it’s still school and she has to wear uniform. I’m told she didn’t cry until her mummy came back to pick her up at the end of the day.
