The new telly has arrived. It’s big. I’ve already managed to hide some cables behind the wall ready for when it is mounted above the fireplace.. just need to work out what to do with the power cable because it’s a figure-8 plug not the kettle plug I had presumed so I need more bits. I’ve even run a USB cable up there in case I want to put a camera above the screen and just for Vicky, I’ve managed to get hold of some Wii sensor bar extension leads so the Wii can work on it too. I’ve decided to hire a company to wall mount the telly instead of a DIY job. I figured although I could do it, I’d never be 100% sure that I’d done it quite right but as the company I’m hiring have alledgedly done others in the village then I’m hoping they know what they are doing… and they aren’t that expensive either.
Here’s the situation so far:
