We had a nice evening at Hall Green Stadium last night taking part in a bit of gambling malarky. It was to celebrate Vicky’s friend Marie’s 30th birthday and was a great success. I put all the bets on and Vicky took the winnings… I’m sure I must have been doing something wrong there.
Before that I had a joint birthday meal at my parents… joint with my little/bigger brother and am now fully stocked up on clothes for the next few years. I’ve kind of become accustomed to this time of year as an opportunity to refresh my clothing to whatever my brother / sister / parents advise me are in fashion now. I’m looking forward to testing out my wifi detecting t-shirt in various locations now as well… my sister assures me people will not point and stare at the bright blue flashing lights on the front of it. Now I just need to find motivation and a gap in the rain to wash the car.
Glad you enjoyed the night at the dogs. I don’t think I’ll make a career out of gambling either. I’m still deciding what to spend my 3-60 winnings on! It was good fun though!
