Our house is the feature in today’s Bedworth Observer.. hopefully this will generate some more interest:

Saturday was good fun.. a good friend of mine from school days and beyond got married. James and Jo are now wed and I had the responsibility of capturing the moment on video. I now have three and a half hours of raw footage to sift through and edit down. So far I’ve managed to get 46 minutes and have completed the arrival of the bride, the service, photographs and the speeches… it’s a good job I’ve had the week off!

And today, in the belief that the 5kg of chocolate I already have in the house wasn’t quite enough, I went to Cadbury World. mmm. mmmmmmm.

Well that’s it folks. I’ve finished my job at Volvo and left forever. My colleagues had a whip around and got me a megolithic 5kg bar of Dairy Milk (which according to the wrapper is an average person’s 6 month supply of chocolate). I’ve now got a week’s holiday before I start my new job – but the official leaving do isn’t until a week Friday so it’s not quite feeling like it is all over yet. I’m sure this will all hit me soon……..

I had a bit of an incident involving some new hair clippers I bought last week…. in trying to tidy up and thin out my sideburns I inadvertantly took a small chunk of hair out from the side of my head. Ooops. So a trip to the hairdressers was needed this morning and I’m now sporting a very short do indeed. No photos to save future embarrasment I’m afraid!
