• Lots of cracks now, and a head is starting to pop up, still can’t quite tell what it is yet though. I might take another piccy tonight as I’m going away tomorrow – don’t want to leave you in suspense for too long.

  • After just one day in the special hatching environment, cracks start to appear in the shell of the egg and a small part of a creature is clearly visible… what could it be?

24Mb broadband is on it’s way (hopefully).. I’ve started the ball rolling on the move from my current provider, Nildram, to Be (www.bethere.co.uk). I reckon I’ll probably get about 16Mb downstream…. but hopefully I’ll get nearer 2Mb for the upstream so all my millions of readers can surf my web sites faster without annoying Vicky sitting at home.

  • My Christmas present is all sorted…. got my hands on the 60GB version of the PS3 before they all disappear for good. It came with Ridge Racer 7 and Resistance. The only problem I have at the moment is that house management are standing firm and not letting me use it until Christmas day… boooooo. I was allowed to plug it in for 5 minutes to test it, but that’s all…. oh well… high-def gaming is within my grasp.

well, I’ve been back for a week now. Vicky and Poppy came out to Barcelona to visit for a long weekend – I’ll put some photos up when I get chance and there’ll be a video to follow. It does take a couple of days to slow back down in to normal life after working out there but I’m starting to reach 30mph once more. So now it’s time to start Christmas shopping again… I’ve got most things sorted, and now Vicky has a car (thanks mother-in-law for the loan!) she can go out and get the rest all done. We’re also planning for our Christmas day family buffet. I’m contributing the ideas of Onion Bhajis and Daim Cake from Ikea.

We’re not going to be putting a Christmas tree up this year either… we’ve decided that it wouldn’t last longer than 10 minutes with Poppy around as active as she is at the moment… the lights on the front of the house will definitly be up next week though.
