Vicky’s gone to London for the weekend to run around Hyde park a bit, so has left me in charge looking after Poppy. So far I’m discovering that her nose needs to be wiped an average of 2 times per minute (Poppy, not Vicky). Anyway, I think I shall teach her how to run with scissors, poke things in to electric sockets, and to reach up and pull pan handles from the kitchen hob. There’s nothing like a fatherly education.
